Krassimir Ivanov

Producer - Screenwriter - Director - Journalist

Bulgarian film professional based in Italy for over thirty years, working across production, executive production, directing, casting and international film production. His career began alongside Ermanno Olmi on The Profession of Arms, followed by work on international productions connected with filmmakers including Martin Scorsese, Mel Gibson and Guy Ritchie. His producing credits include Living Legends, Twice Upon a Time in the West and All She Wrote. His work bridges the Italian and Bulgarian film industries, combining international production experience with a background in visual arts.

Through archives, artworks, places and testimonies, the documentary rediscovers his personality and artistic legacy, revealing the connection between his Bulgarian roots and Italy's avant-garde cultural environment.
