Commissioned by Tullio d’Albisola as his own home, shop and workshop, Casa Mazzotti was designed by the Futurist architect Nicolay Diulgheroff beginning in 1930, with construction completed in 1934. Casa Mazzotti is the only example of a Futurist home to have survived intact to the present day: it was designed and built entirely under the architect’s direction and has undergone no alterations or additions over the years. Today it houses the Ceramiche Mazzotti company and Tullio d’Albisola’s documentary archive.
